What is a Strategic Review?
A strategic review is an evaluation of the day-to-day practices of an organisation to see whether these actions will achieve the company targets and aspirations. It allows companies to keep on target and, if required, change tact to ensure goals are met.
In larger organisations, strategic reviews, often used in conjunction with a leadership change, can help to communicate any changes to all staff and can increase stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation. Equally important in smaller, or new businesses, the ability to review progress, often with outside assistance, can ensure that sufficient growth is maintained.
What does a Strategic Review Cost?
The cost of a strategic review could depend on many factors. Some could include:
- Size of business
- Number of departments
- How many stakeholders to be consulted?
- Depth/length of the investigation
- Number of competitors

For example, smaller businesses an overall strategic review could take as little as half a day. However, large organisations may have strategic reviews conducted over longer periods of time.
